Description

The design, manufacturing, inspection, testing, etc. of the sheaves follow the API Spec 8C standard. They are made of high-quality steel and combined with forging and welding processes, endowing them with excellent compressive and wear-resistant properties. In harsh operating environments such as oil drilling, the sheaves can frequently bear huge loads and the intense friction between the wire rope and the sheave surface. They can maintain a stable working state during long-term high-intensity operations, reducing the frequency of maintenance and replacement and lowering the operating costs. sheave

The sheaves are usually equipped with high-precision bearings. These bearings have precise manufacturing tolerances and good rotational accuracy, ensuring that the sheaves can run smoothly under high-speed and heavy-load conditions. The high-precision bearings can also effectively reduce the friction resistance, decrease energy consumption, and improve the working efficiency of the sheaves.

The sheaves and bearings are interchangeable with those of the supporting crown blocks and traveling blocks.
